Q & A - Q:  Who writes 25-30 songs before deciding to become a musician?  A: A person who wants to perform & record music, and have his songs on the radio, and is not preoccupied with having his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone (although that would be nice).  Matthew Fogle wrote 25-30 songs in October of 1996, three months before getting his first guitar.  It was a melodic spurt - he was in a zone - composing songs while walking in the backyard or in the halls of school, with the same musical background as a tree stump.  He recorded all of his songs on one lone cassette tape, which remains locked up to this day.

Fast-forward 12 years, and now Matthew has played hundreds of shows, continues to write music, and feels that life experience is the fuel for good tunes.  He is primed, musically, to give his songs justice.  He spent his early career as a lead guitarist for "Bad Stratus," a rock band touring central Kentucky.  In time, Matthew decided that heading a solo project was the best avenue to deliver his songs to the audiences.

The shows, however, are anything but scaled down.  With talented backup on keyboards, bass, and drums, and a complete sound and light setup, audiences enjoy the songs in their completion - they way they are recorded, and they way they are meant to sound.  Matthew has one striking goal: to be an influence for his listeners, just as he has been influenced by past and present performers.
