September 2, 2008 - New CD is being planned for this fall!  The new songs are getting super feedback, and the CD will probably be a 5-7 track mini-album.  Get ready...I'm excited!

March 23, 2008 - Laundry Mat tour getting plenty of local and regional press:  Enewschannels.com, WLIO-TV Ohio, News Enterprise, California Newswire, Music Industry Newswire, NewsBlaze, Top-40 Charts, plus an interview this evening on "Louisville Rocks" 93.1 The Fox between 7pm and 8pm.  Also getting press from PLG-13, The Kentucky Standard, and making an appearance on CW Louisville's "Live This Morning" on Friday March 28th at 9:30am!!!

March 3, 2008 - "Spring Cleaning Tour '08" of 17 laundry mats in 6 states on show schedule!  Kick-off is Monday, March 24th!

Feb. 12, 2008 - As seen on the show schedule, stay tuned for a very interesting show lineup to be announced March 3rd!  You won't want to miss this, for real.  Other than that, things are going smoothly for the MFOTB crew, and more and more people are catching wind of the great music being generated here.

Dec. 10, 2007 - Rocking steady the past few months, the schedule still growing and more shows getting put under the belt.  MFOTB has performed in Louisville, Bardstown, Shepherdsville, Lexington, Danville, Nicholasville, & Elizabethtown in the past few months.  New fans in new areas, and still more new original songs!

October 25, 2007 - The schedule is growing and includes more dates in more and different places!  Note the "Sugar n' Spice" show coming up on December 15th at Phoenix Hill Tavern.  Also, a few dates at the newly redone Moby Dick's in Bardstown.  And also playing w/ Smokin' Ashes at St. Andrew's Pub in Louisville with some great bands on the bill.  Check out that calender and hope everyone comes out to a show soon!

September 20, 2007 - Come out to the 5th Annual 100.9 Mike-FM Battle of the Bands next Friday, September 28th, to see a live performance by MFOTB & Smokin' Ashes.  We'll be getting a 45-minute set to do approximately 5-6 songs.  If the weather is good it'll be held outside.   

August 11, 2007 - The WAVE-3 TV Broadcast has been moved to an in-studio performance on WAVE-3 Listens August 31st.  The show will air from 10am-11am, so watch as I bring the show in and out of breaks, and one song at the end!

August 11, 2007 - Happy Birthday to me!  I'm 25 today!

July 9, 2007 - I've been asked to play the opening day of the Kentucky State Fair at the WAVE-3 TV Booth, broadcasting live on WAVE-3 Listens.  Please tune in.  Check back to the website often for more shows.

June 19, 2007 - Jazzy's Pub is closing down after a one-year run, so join Matthew as he plays the final weekend for the pub.  Friday, June 29th, Matthew plays from 9pm-1am.  Blues band On the Edge plays the Saturday show.  It's a sad day in Jazzyland.

May 12, 2007 - Listen for my 93.1 THE FOX interview this weekend.  Sunday, May 13 between 7 & 9pm.  Still scheduling lots of new shows!  Gotta nice one booked for July 4th at Bizarre Cafe!  Preliminary schedules also have big Louisville names like Nova Red and Subrosa playing this one acoustic!  The CD is gaining some great response, and will soon be available at Ear-X-Tacy in Louisville.

April 15, 2007 - Check out the show scheduled for Bizarre Cafe on May 1st.  It's a World Love Day afternoon celebration, and I'll be recorded for G1NBC TV!

March 21, 2007 - Lots of new shows scheduled.  CDs are now available here online or at Wooden Duck Entertainment.  Listen to 93.1 The Fox at 7pm Sundays and 105.1 WLRS at 11pm Sundays and request a song from "On the Brink."

February 27, 2007 - The CD Release show was a huge success at Jazzy's this past Saturday.  The next show has been scheduled for Bearno's Pizza in Bardstown (which is newly renovated) on March 9th from 8:30pm - 11pm.

February 20, 2007 - Show scheduled for Jazzy's Pub on February 24th.  This will be the CD release show of the 11-track album On the Brink.  Last time I was there, I set the record for the most time played without a break (3 hours, 47 minutes).  It's always a great time out there.  Great drinks and great food.  Several new original songs will also be introduced, including one I'm particularly proud of - "Weak."  Don't miss it.
